Yes! An evaluation consists of informal measures (e.g., caregiver input, clinical observations, speech and/or language samples, non-standardized tools) and formal measures (i.e., standardized assessments). A written report and plan of care will be provided within 10 business days. If your child was evaluated within the past year, kindly provide us with a copy to review and use for treatment planning purposes.

Therapy sessions are 30, 45, or 60 minutes in duration based on your child’s needs. Caregiver involvement improves outcomes; therefore, 5-10 minutes will be devoted to reviewing your child’s session and strategies implemented to promote generalization of skills outside of therapy sessions.

Gab & Grow is private-pay only and considered an out-of-network/non-participating provider with all insurance companies. While we do not accept insurance, a superbill can be provided upon request. It will outline the services rendered and can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. Please note that this is not a guarantee that services will be covered. We highly recommend speaking with your insurance provider to review your out-of-network benefits.

Yes! We are an approved provider for Step Up for Students and accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities. We are proud to offer comprehensive support to eligible students throughout Florida, with both in-person and virtual services available.

Payment is due at the time of service and can be made using ACH, cash, credit card, or check. Kindly note that if you prefer to use a credit card, a transaction/processing fee will be applied. A 10% fee of the check amount will be charged due to insufficient funds on any returned checks. In the event of a returned check, final payment will be due immediately plus fees in the form of cash only. All sales are final.

While Gab & Grow does not have a physical office at this time, Joyce travels to clients in Lake Nona, Lake Hart, St. Cloud, and Lee Vista. Speech and language therapy services can be provided in the comfort of your home, mutually agreed upon community setting, or virtually (i.e., telehealth). A travel fee may apply for distances traveled 10+ miles from our lead speech-language pathologist's home location. This is in addition to therapy service rates and is due at the end of the month.
